Mike Lovely (Outfitter License No. 4955) is a fourth generation Montana native who grew up hunting, fishing, and exploring the Boulder Valley and the nearby Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. He started guiding at age 16; by the time he was 20, he had his outfitter license. Mike has been operating Rollin’ Boulder Outfitters with his wife Mona for nearly 15 years.

Rollin’ Boulder Outfitters is affiliated with Big Timber Guides and Bob Bovee (Outfitter License No. 452). Bob has been operating Big Timber Guides for nearly 30 nearly years. He and his wife Donia (Mona's mom) have raised the entire extended family with outfitting and guiding in their blood.

Our guides are experienced and professional—the best in the area. Most of our guides return year after year, anxious to show our guests the magic of the mountains.
